Bon Jovi to Drop a Live DVD From Two Last New York Shows
July 21, 2008 02:07:31New Jersey iconic rockers Bon Jovi seem really impressed with their last two concerts at Madison Square Garden on July 14 & 15 and showing it they reportedly recorded their performance that nights and will release it as a live DVD. According to the band's guru Obie O' Brien the upcoming new package will feature all the songs performed by the band at those two gigs and drop later this year.
Confirming about the new DVD details, the band's representative Obie told the press, "The DVD will basically be the last two nights at MSG.....and its gonna be really amazing." The upcoming live record won't be the first one dropped by the rockers as previously they have already dropped a live record titled "One Wild Night Live 1985-2001" on May 22, 2001.

The latest reports suggested that the band's proceedings from their recent tour is the highest among other artists until this midterm of 2008. According to Billboard Boxscore, the New Jersey rocker's tour in North America and the Pacific Rim, which was sponsored by AEG Live, profited the band about $112 .4 million.
That earning is way above the profit gained by other artists' tours, such as Spice Girls who collected $70 million from their latest tour, Miley Cyrus ($45.4 million), Van Halen ($40.2 million) and even Jay-Z - Mary J. Blige ($30.3 million). That data was collected by Billboard and it is taken from Nov. 14, 2007, until May 13, 2008 period.
Bon Jovi to Play Free Concert for 60,000 Fans in NYC

The free gig itself will take place at Central Park on July 12 and it is being held as part of the celebration before the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, which starts on July 15. The concert itself is being labeled the All-Star Concert and is being scheduled to kick off at 8 P.M. with no live TV coverage at all.

Richie Sambora is heading for rehab, again. The Bon Jovi guitarist checked into the famed Cirque Lodge in Utah on Monday September 17th where actress-singer Lindsay Lohan is receiving treatment for her addiction.
This is Sambora's second visit to rehab this year. He spent a week at the UCLA Medical Center back on June 6th following his break up with girlfriend Denise Richards.

Bon Jovi has completed the music video of of their new single 'Lost Highway'. The clip was shot in Berwyn and Lakemoor, Illinois and has erupted in video sharing websites few days before its premiere on Yahoo! Music on September 5.
'Lost Highway' is also the title track of the band's tenth album studio. It was utilized in John Travolta's movie 'Wild Hogs' and was about to be used as the official theme for WWE PPV 'The Great American Bash 2007' when it was eventually replaced by Cobra Starship's 'Church of Hot Addiction'.

No, he didn't check into rehab. He just did detox. Richie Sambora set the record straight on the report he's stayed at a treatment facility in Los Angeles, where he reportedly checked in last week.
"I didn't check into rehab. I did detox," the Bon Jovi drummer told The Today Show on Tuesday June 19th. "Instead of me heading into a place - I was just drinking too much and I needed to get my life together. I'm still in therapy and stuff like that, but it's good. I'm great. I feel fine," he went on saying.

Exclusively for American Express car holders, purchasing of the tickets is placed the earliest on June 12. For every ticket purchased, a code is given out by Ticketmaster to access the download of the album through iTunes starting from the official release date on June 19. Fortunately, all the 14 passengers escaped injury. A spokeswoman said the passengers and flight crew were arriving from Buffalo, N.Y., where the band played Friday. No one was hurt. 'Have a Nice Day' with Bon Jovi

The tour reportedly will be begun in early November, and dates are stacked up through late December. In time, the band will play multiple nights at some venues in the Northeast, with two-night stands set for New York City, Philadelphia and their home state Jersey. Moreover, they will also play in Dallas; Atlanta; Seattle; Portland, OR; Milwaukee; Nashville; Houston; San Jose, CA; Los Angeles; Phoenix and Las Vegas.
