November 26, 2009 10:11:49Adam Lambert paid CBS a visit on November 25 to make live performances for "The Early Show" audience. The openly gay singer delivered two songs, "Whataya Want From Me" and "Music Again", both of which are from his newly-released debut album "For Your Entertainment".
"Thank you to everyone who waited in the cold so early this morning for my CBS Early Show performance!" Adam wrote on his Twitter after the Wednesday performance. "Your support is so important to me."

'Glee' Bumped Until April, Paired With 'American Idol'
November 25, 2009 09:11:05The first network to have the full midseason schedule announced, FOX puts "Glee" on a three-month-plus break. The musical show will wrap its first half of season 1 on December 9 and only returns for the rest on April 13. Indeed it will be paired with the performance night of "American Idol" on Tuesdays.
"Idol" will have its usual two-night shows starting January 12. Before "Glee" slips in as its partner, the singing competition will be accompanied at the 9/8c hour on Tuesdays by a new series titled "Our Little Genius". It is an unscripted series that features America's most gifted kids as they are tested with some of the most challenging and difficult questions.

Fifth season finalist, Kevin Covais, tells Us Weekly he has no problem with it. "After watching him take risks on Idol, it was about what I expected," Kevin says in a statement. "Despite being a bit risque, I don't feel like it pushed the envelope that much further from what we normally see these days, especially on primetime television. I see no reason why he should be punished by ABC."
Jim Verraros, one of the top 10 finalists in the first season of "Idol", is the other person who offers comment for Adam. Also a gay himself, Jim muses "We need this, and we need him. In category of Best Leading Actor, there lined up the likes of Antonio Banderas, Andy Garcia, and John Leguizamo while that of Best Leading Actress put together Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, Ines Sastre, also America Ferrera, who received praise from her performance in acclaimed teen flick "The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants."

While there won't be official soundtrack for the highly anticipated flick "Superman Returns", Rhino Entertainment is planning to release "Sounds of Superman", which is the soundtrack CD of the film.
Due June 13th later this year, the set contains several fun covers, including R.E.M.'s "Superman" by The Academy Is ..., The Kinks' "(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman" by The Sun, Donovan's "Sunshine Superman" by The Films, and Foo Fighters' "My Hero" by Paramore.

Hollywood actress Uma Thurman and country music queen Dolly Parton have been added to the long list of Oscar presenters. They are, in fact, the latest two additions to be announced by the Academy.
