From the get-go, the macho and swaggering Chazz Michael Michaels (Will Ferrell) and the whinny and arrogant Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder) are designed to be a unique pair one won't soon forget. In the competitive world of figure skating, pair skaters signify a couple consisting of a man and a woman. So, the pairing of these two same-sex skaters is definitely something that will not be found in near future, if not impossible. Added to the unlikelihood is the fact that they are arch rivals on and off the ice. It's hard to refrain a chuckle when they are forced to team up in order to compete at the Winter Sport Games once more.
