But, coming off as an action figure is not the only thing that makes Hanks the talk of the year when he takes in hand this role of renowned historical religious symbolism professor who finds himself embroiled in a deadly web of intrigue. His long and unruly haircut has become the subjects of criticism more than the controversial film itself. No wonder, there are sighs of relief when Hanks appears as Langdon with a shorter, tidier and altogether sharper haircut in the upcoming "Angels & Demons".
