AceShowbiz - Henry Golding leads the horror thriller The Lost Ones, which will be available to buy or rent on Digital on October 27. The film also stars Laura Haddock and Alex Pettyfer.

The movie is directed by Andrew Baird and written by Miles Kelly and Brandon Robinson. It is presented by SP Media Group as a Steven Paul Production, a Dark Dreams Entertainment production and a Long House Productions release. Paramount Global Content Distribution is handling distribution.

According to the official synopsis, Mae has always seen things others can't. Moving to a new home deep in the countryside, her family hope a quiet life will finally silence her visions. It doesn't. When a menacing neighbor raises suspicions, Mae and her sister Isabelle find themselves caught between the threat outside and the secrets growing within their own walls. As Mae's sixteenth birthday arrives, nothing — and no one — is quite what it seemed.

The film is rated R in the U.S. for violence, bloody images and some language. It carries a 14A rating in Canada for brutal violence, disturbing content and frightening scenes. The run time is 87 minutes.

Golding stars alongside Haddock and Pettyfer, both of whom also serve as producers on the project. The producing team includes James Ireland, Steven Paul, Golding, Pettyfer and Yariv Lerner.

Executive producers on the film are Scott Karol, Conor O'Farrell, Alistair Hudson, Fernando Ferro, Kelly, Robinson and Magnus Rausing. Kyle Otto serves as consulting producer.

Behind the camera, Thomas Farnon composed the original music, while Alex Fenn and Steve Clark handled editing. Orlin Grozdanov is the production designer, and Léo Hinston served as director of photography.

A trailer for the film has been released, offering a look at the countryside setting and the supernatural threat at the center of the story.
