AceShowbiz - During the second weekend of the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Grammy Award-winning artists Billie Eilish and SZA made surprise appearances during Justin Bieber’s headlining performance, electrifying the crowd in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Bieber returned as a headliner for the festival’s desert stage, delivering a memorable set full of unexpected guest moments. One of the most talked-about highlights came when Billie Eilish was playfully pushed onto the stage amid the performance of Bieber’s 2009 hit, "One Less Lonely Girl." The singer immediately embraced the moment, laughing as she collapsed in a mix of embarrassment and delight.
Bieber then invited Eilish to join him on a stool on the minimally decorated stage to sing the song together. The two shared a lighthearted and joyful exchange, with Bieber frequently laughing along as Eilish performed. This portion of the set was part of a more stripped-back section where Bieber pulled up old music videos on YouTube, allowing the audience to witness a remarkable contrast between his current self and his younger past self.
However, Eilish was not the only surprise guest to grace the stage that night. Near the end of his set, Bieber welcomed SZA, who joined him for an acoustic duet of her hit "Snooze." The crowd erupted in excitement as SZA took the stage, with Bieber expressing his affection for the singer, telling her he loved her "so much."
SZA admitted to feeling nervous and unsure how to exit the stage after their performance. The ever-charming Bieber assisted her off the stage while loudly proclaiming their mutual admiration, adding a warm and genuine moment to the evening.
Additional special guests also appeared throughout the set, including Big Sean, Sexyy Red, and Dijon, who each contributed to the dynamic energy of Bieber’s performance. While there were notable guests during the first weekend, the second weekend of Coachella saw an even greater number of surprise appearances, enhancing the festival’s excitement.
Weekend two also featured other star-studded moments. For example, PinkPantheress hosted a birthday bash during her Saturday Mojave tent set, bringing out celebrities such as Janelle Monae, Zara Larsson, Tyriq Withers, Chase Infiniti, and Manon of KATSEYE among others. Earlier the same day, Addison Rae shared the Coachella main stage with Olivia Rodrigo, who debuted her new single "Drop Dead" live for the first time while performing Rae’s "Headphones On."
Friday night's headlining set by pop star Sabrina Carpenter also generated buzz when she invited Madonna on stage. The duo performed a rendition of Madonna’s classic "Like A Prayer," a song that recently re-entered popular culture after a viral video featuring actor Connor Storrie dancing to the track.
Looking ahead, Colombian superstar Karol G is scheduled to close the festival with a Sunday night headlining performance, rounding out an event filled with unforgettable collaborations and surprise moments.
