The couple, known for their appearances on Bachelor in Paradise, welcomed their newest family member over two years after the birth of their first son, Benson.

The couple shared the happy news on April 10 via Instagram, revealing that their baby arrived on Easter Sunday. “Our little honey baked ham arrived on Easter Sunday,” they wrote. “He’s made our family whole and we love you more than you will ever know.”

In a heartfelt tribute, Becca Kufrin disclosed that their son’s name, Steven Jon, honors her late father, Steve Kufrin, who passed away from brain cancer in 2009 when she was 17 years old. “One day I’ll be able to tell you where your name came from... after one of the greatest men I’ve ever known,” she wrote. “Someone you’ve never met but who would have loved you more than anything in this world.”

She also expressed excitement about the future adventures of their two boys, Benson and Stevie, stating, “We can’t wait for the adventures of Benny and Stevie, we love you so much, our boys.”

The couple had previously shared their pregnancy news in a creative Halloween-themed video that featured Becca Kufrin dressed as a witch and Thomas Jacobs wearing a skeleton shirt. They performed a playful “spell” over a small cauldron with their son Benson’s help. Becca Kufrin humorously captioned her Instagram Story about the pregnancy announcement: “I must say I am the SLEEPIEST girl you’ve ever met.” She joked, “I think this baby might be part vampire, sucking the life outta me.”

Since becoming a mother to Benson, Becca Kufrin has been open about her struggles with postpartum depression and anxiety. She shared in an interview with Momcozy in April that she was unprepared for the challenges of motherhood, including the sleepless nights, hormonal changes, and breastfeeding demands. “It definitely took a toll on me, especially those first couple weeks and months. I honestly feel like I blacked out and was just in a fog,” she admitted.

Becca Kufrin revealed her postpartum anxiety intensified in the months following Benson’s birth, causing her to cry multiple times daily. “I’ve always had anxiety throughout my life, but it was just on a whole new level now that I had another human to take care of,” she explained. She recalled Thomas Jacobs encouraging her to stop fixating on everything and to rest when their son was sleeping. “I can’t turn off my mind,” she said she told him during those moments.

Through perseverance, she found ways to manage her mental health. “It’s been a wild ride, but it’s also been the biggest blessing of my life,” she reflected. “I can’t imagine my life without my Benny. I’ve learned to let go of the reins a little bit and be able to ask for help.”

The decision to grow their family had its moments of contemplation, but Becca Kufrin has shared how rewarding it was to witness Thomas Jacobs embrace fatherhood. “To see Thomas become a dad is such a beautiful moment,” she told Us Weekly. “He was my best friend and my love before we had Benson, but now it’s just so much deeper because it’s a whole different level of that bond and that intimacy when you have a little one.”
