AceShowbiz - Disney is continuing to restructure its communications team under the leadership of new CEO Josh D'Amaro and communications chief Paul Roeder.
On Friday, the company announced that Nastasya Morauw, who previously served as VP, Communications & Awards at Disney's Searchlight Pictures, will transition to the role of VP, Communications at Walt Disney Studios. In this new capacity, Morauw will take on the primary communications responsibilities for Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios.
This move is part of a broader realignment within Disney’s communications division, aiming to streamline messaging and coordination across its major film studios. The promotion reflects Morauw’s expanded role in shaping the narrative and public relations efforts for some of Disney’s most prominent entertainment branches.
These changes come shortly after Paul Roeder was named Chief Communications Officer and began assembling his team, which also included elevating April Carretta to oversee communications for Disney’s President Dana Walden. This ongoing shuffle emphasizes Disney’s intent to strengthen its communications strategy under the new executive leadership.
As the company moves forward, Morauw will be a key player in managing communications for Disney’s live-action projects and 20th Century Studios productions, ensuring cohesive messaging across its diverse entertainment portfolio.
