AceShowbiz - Lisa of BLACKPINK recently took some time off from her demanding schedule to visit a beloved viral monkey named Punch at the Ichikawa City Zoo in Chiba Prefecture, near Tokyo, Japan.

On Saturday, March 7, the 28-year-old singer posted heartwarming photos on her social media accounts showcasing her encounter with Punch, a baby macaque who gained online attention after being bullied by other apes in his enclosure.

Punch’s story touched many, especially after he was gifted a large orangutan stuffed toy to comfort him. The monkey now carries the toy everywhere, which has become a symbol of his resilience and cuteness. To show her support, Lisa brought her own stuffed orangutan and held it up to Punch, creating an adorable moment captured in her Instagram Story.

In the pictures, Lisa is seen smiling brightly, dressed casually in a gray hoodie, blue jeans, and a light knitted beanie. Additional photos also reveal Punch relaxing in his cage with his cherished stuffed companion, further endearing him to fans.

Despite her busy life, Lisa continues to engage with meaningful experiences like this. She has recently started filming a new movie titled Tygo in South Korea, while balancing her music career and other projects.

Last week, BLACKPINK unveiled their latest EP called DEADLINE, marking their first major release since their 2022 album, Born Pink, topped the Billboard 200 chart. This five-track mini-album features the lead single "Jump," which was released last summer and reached number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100. Other tracks include "Go," "Me and My," "Champion," and "Fxxxboy."
