AceShowbiz - Kim Gordon has revealed plans for her headline tour in the UK and Europe, set to commence in April 2026. This tour coincides with the release of her third solo album, Play Me, scheduled to drop on March 13 via Matador Records.
The former Sonic Youth bassist and vocalist will kick off her eight-date journey at the Rewire Festival in The Hague on April 11. This highly anticipated tour will feature a significant performance at London's O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on April 14, culminating in Warsaw on April 21.
Tickets for all tour dates are currently available, and fans can secure theirs through the official website.

Alongside the tour announcement, Gordon has released the lead single from Play Me, titled Not Today, which showcases her evolving sound.
In a recent press release, the album is described as “distilled and immediate,” highlighting Gordon's intent to explore more melodic beats while maintaining the driving rhythms characteristic of krautrock. “We wanted the songs to be short,” Gordon commented about her collaboration with producer Justin Raisen, known for his work with artists like Charli XCX and Yves Tumor. “We wanted to do it really fast. It’s more focused, and maybe more confident. I always kind of work off of rhythms, and I knew I wanted it to be even more beat-oriented than the last one.”
The album Play Me follows Gordon's 2019 debut solo album, No Home Record, and her audacious 2024 sophomore release, The Collective. In a four-star review, NME praised The Collective, stating, “Here the 70-year-old balances her less than commercial sensibilities with crunchily on-trend production and relatable lyrics about rotten capitalism and fragile masculinity.” This observation underscores how Gordon's themes have remained relevant since her Sonic Youth days.
