As vital parts of the ensemble, Elouahabi and Shango’s characters, Hass and Danny, confront significant personal and professional hurdles. Eric Shango revealed Danny’s conflict: “Danny, having been married at the end of season 2, is now progressing with family life and just weighing up whether a career as dangerous as this one is something that’s viable for his family.†This deeply influences Danny’s narrative and affects Lana’s journey.
Nabil Elouahabi shed light on Hass’s storyline: “For Hass, he now has to rebuild his life.†Following personal turmoil, Hass finds solace in his demanding profession. “Work becomes his refuge… He loves the structure, the camaraderie, he feels in safe hands,†Elouahabi explained, noting how the high-stakes environment paradoxically offers security.
A unique production challenge was shooting Trigger Point seasons 3 and 4 back-to-back. This ambitious approach presented considerable hurdles. Nabil Elouahabi vividly compared the experience to Twister: “You really need to remember where you’re going, because otherwise you’re going to confuse yourself.†Non-chronological filming meant actors often portrayed emotional states for events their characters hadn't yet experienced.
