Though intrigued by the idea, Faris doubted her ability to immerse herself in the drama that characterizes the franchise. She wondered if she could truly be herself in front of the cameras, wondering if she would better be suited to play a character rather than participate as herself.

"I think I'm way too boring. I don't know if I'm too nice. I really think I would wear everything on my sleeve. I think I would blurt out all the time… I don't know if I would put on the whole pretense of 'there's no cameras.' I don't know. I don't know."

However, Faris revealed that she "would totally take the phone call" from Bravo boss Andy Cohen if invited to join, especially for "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." She also compared joining the show's seasoned members to "going to graduate school when you're a freshman."
