AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey is no stranger to the spotlight, but her teenage twins, Moroccan and Monroe, might not feel quite the same way. The singer's recent Instagram post showcasing their festive Easter celebration left her children feeling a bit embarrassed.
Carey, 56, posted a series of festive family photos featuring her and her 13-year-old twins. While the chart-topping musician was dressed up in a sparkly pink outfit, the kids were more relaxed in white sweatshirt and tee, and denim pants and shorts.
The proud mother gushed in the caption, "The greatest gift of being a mom is getting your teenage kids to participate in your Easter hijinks!" However, her children were less enthusiastic about the public display. Monroe commented, "OMG DELETE IT," while Moroccan asked, "Why do you do this to me, mom?"
Mariah Carey welcomed the twins with her now ex-husband Nick Cannon in 2011, and this isn't the first time Mariah has playfully embarrassed her children. Earlier in April, she made an unexpected appearance on Moroccan's Twitch livestream, much to the amusement of his viewers.
The reaction from fans was immediate, with one repeatedly shouting, "Hi, Mrs. Carey!" Moroccan, seemingly embarrassed, urged his family members to leave, saying, "Y'all need to get out now. Everybody get out."
