Tyla brought back Britney's iconic look while infusing it with her own unique flair and delivered a new song as she returned to the Coachella stage for its second weekend.

AceShowbiz - Tyla channeled her inner Britney Spears at the second weekend of the Coachella music festival. She gave the crowd a taste of Y2K nostalgia with her modern twist on the iconic "I'm a Slave 4 U" VMAs outfit.

Tyla took the Coachella stage adorned in a vintage floral print balconette bra from Dolce & Gabbana's S/S 2001 runway collections paired with denim shorts embellished with crystals, silk fringes, glass beads, and safety pins.

This ensemble mirrored Britney's famous look but with a contemporary edge that had the audience reminiscing and discovering something new at the same time.

Tyla accessorized with a silver body chain and opted for zebra-print booties, which she later swapped for crocodile skin-inspired knee-high boots. Her hair, styled in wavy extensions, and bold magenta-toned eyeshadow further accentuated the nostalgia while highlighting her individuality.

Tyla has continuously shown her admiration for Britney Spears. As a Billboard 2025 Women in Music Impact honoree, she named the "Womanizer" hitmaker as one of her musical inspirations in March.

In doing so, she follows in the footsteps of other artists like Megan Thee Stallion and Tate McRae, who have also paid tribute to Britney's iconic looks in their performances.

While Tyla's homage to Britney was evident, she also wowed the crowd with her live performances. The South African star delighted concertgoers by performing a new song during her set.

"I don't want to be nowhere without you/ Baby, I don't want to let you out my sight/ I don't want to, I don't want to ever break away from you," she crooned. "Let my smile bring you peace of mind/ Burning desire when you throw your arms all around me/ I need to feel all your passion."
