When your loved one receives unflattering labels, it's only natural to step up and take a stand. That's precisely what Bettina Anderson did when Donald Trump Jr. was castigated in New York Magazine.

AceShowbiz - Bettina Anderson, a Palm Beach socialite and girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr., did not take kindly to her boyfriend being branded as a "spoiled heir" and an "a**hole" in the scathing New York Magazine article titled "Age of Don Jr."
Stepping up to defend him, Anderson took to her Instagram Story to address an anonymous "insider" who contributed unflattering insights about Don Jr.
"Rumors are started by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots," Anderson wrote, as reported by the Daily Mail. She sarcastically questioned the credibility of the source, suggesting the insider was "DEFINITELY … VERY familiar" with her boyfriend.
In her impassioned statement, the 38-year-old did not hold back in praising Trump Jr., affectionately describing him as the "finest, loveliest, tenderest, and most beautiful and brilliant person" she has ever known.
Anderson wasn't alone in her defense; Trump Jr. himself responded via his Instagram Story. "Don't get me wrong, I can totally be an a–hole when I need to be … if you're adversarial to my friends, my family, my country, MAGA, etc," he admitted.
Nevertheless, he challenged the anonymous critics, calling them "cowards" for not putting their names to their claims.
The magazine also scrutinized Anderson's romance with Don Jr., claiming she used to "look down" on President Donald Trump and his family. However, as writer Nina Burleigh pointed out, "Everyone understands why a smart girl might hook up with a president's son."
The couple's relationship came to light in December 2024, following Trump Jr.'s split from his ex-fiancee, Kimberly Guilfoyle, who was picked by Trump as the United States Ambassador to Greece.
As the public continues to dissect the personal lives of public figures, one thing is clear: both Bettina Anderson and Donald Trump Jr. are not ones to let criticisms go unanswered.
