More than a decade after her tax fraud with ex-husband Joe Guidice, the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' is once again entangled in significant financial woes, totalling millions of dollars in unpaid taxes.

AceShowbiz - Teresa Giudice, famed for her role in "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" (RHONJ), is no stranger to financial trouble, and recent reports confirm she's facing another substantial tax debacle. This financial woes come more than a decade after she was hit with tax fraud that landed her and then-husband Joe Giudice in jail.

According to multiple sources, Teresa, 52, and her husband, businessman Luis Ruelas, 49, owe more than $3 million in tax debts.

Multiple reports revealed that Teresa owes over $300,000 while Luis is burdened with a staggering $2.5 million. Luis also faced a tax debt of more than $164,000 in December 2024, and these financial woes remain unresolved in New Jersey courts.

This isn't the first time Teresa Giudice has grappled with fiscal challenges. Her financial saga dates back to 2009 when she and her first husband, Joe, filed for bankruptcy, claiming over $10 million in debts.

The couple was subsequently indicted for bankruptcy fraud, mail and wire fraud, and bank fraud in 2013. Teresa served 11 months of a 15-month sentence while Joe was incarcerated for 41 months.

Post-release, Joe was deported to Italy, later relocating to the Bahamas. Their bankruptcy case was ultimately dismissed in 2018, but they were mandated to pay restitution to the IRS and New Jersey's Department of Treasury.

Fast forward to Teresa's post-Joe life; she moved on with Luis in July 2020. Their romance quickly escalated, resulting in marriage by August 2022. However, financial woes seem to follow Teresa like a dark cloud.

In 2022, she said on "Watch What Happens Live" that they were not planning on signing a prenup, explaining her trust in Luis despite his existing financial obligations. Last year, "RHONJ" co-star Margaret Josephs made claims that Luis had mismanaged Teresa's money, but Teresa vehemently denied.

"B****, you don't even know what you're talking about," Teresa said on Tori Spelling's "misspelling" podcast. "She's not even in my house. She's putting out this false narrative out there."

Last year, Luis took out a $1 million loan on their shared home, with court documents listing him as the "sole member" of the LLC that purchased the mansion.

Amidst these persistent financial issues, Teresa is hopeful for her future on "RHONJ", expressing her desire to continue with the show. "Of course, I'm going to go back," she stated. "Oh my gosh I started it, so I feel like, you know, there's still a lot in me. So yeah, definitely I would go back."

Only time will tell if Teresa's return to "RHONJ" will bring the financial reprieve she so desperately needs.
