Aaron Goodwin, famed for his work on the reality TV series 'Ghost Adventures', has filed for divorce from his wife Victoria Goodwin following allegations that she conspired to have him killed.

AceShowbiz - In a saga that seems straight out of a crime thriller, Aaron Goodwin, a well-known paranormal investigator from the hit show "Ghost Adventures", has filed for divorce from his wife Victoria Goodwin. The filing comes on the heels of Victoria's arrest, accused of plotting to have him killed.

Aaron, 48, lodged his complaint for divorce on Wednesday, March 12, in Clark County, Nevada, as indicated by court records accessed by multiple sources.

Citing irreconcilable differences, Aaron claims that the "views, tastes, likes and dislikes" of him and Victoria have become "incompatible to the extent that it has become impossible for them to live together...in marital harmony." He asserts that there is "no possibility of reconciliation."

According to Us Weekly, Aaron is also seeking to maintain his separate property and is requesting that alimony not be awarded to either party.

Victoria Goodwin, 32, was arrested on March 6 facing charges of solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder, per inmate records in Clark County. She has been held on $100,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 25.

The arrest report, first obtained by TMZ, revealed disturbing details about the alleged plot. Victoria had reportedly been communicating with Florida prison inmate Grant Amato, discussing plans and funds totaling over $11,500 to have Aaron murdered. Additionally, she provided specific information about his filming schedules for "Ghost Adventures" in California.

The police uncovered the alleged plot after corrections officers seized a smuggled phone that Amato was using. Text messages obtained indicate a chilling premeditation. "Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce," reads one such message as reported by TMZ.

When questioned, Victoria denied her intentions, telling the cops she was merely fantasizing.

The pair tied the knot in August 2022 at Disneyland after numerous postponements due to COVID-19. Just weeks before her arrest, Victoria still posted a cozy photo of the couple together on Instagram, captioned with innocent warmth.

A member of the "Ghost Adventures" team since its inception, Goodwin continues his pursuits of investigating haunted locations with series creator Zak Bagans. The show has secured a steadfast following since its premiere on the Travel Channel in 2008 and is currently airing its 26th season on Discovery+. Despite this personal turmoil, the show must and will go on.
