AceShowbiz - Aaron Goodwin, known for his role on the hit show "Ghost Adventures," filed an amended divorce filing against his estranged wife Victoria Goodwin.
According to court documents in Clark County, Nevada, the 48-year-old reality TV star has sued Victoria for assault, false imprisonment, and negligence. He is seeking financial compensation for punitive damages, in addition to other claims.
The explosive allegations arise days after Victoria was arrested on March 6 for allegedly soliciting and conspiring to commit murder. The arrest report reveals disturbing details: Victoria had been communicating with Grant Amato, a convicted murderer serving a life sentence for killing his family.
The two reportedly began a pen-pal relationship after Victoria watched a true-crime documentary about Grant, entitled "Ctrl+Alt+Desire," which aired in April 2024.
The court documents allege that Victoria and Grant exchanged messages about their love for each other and discussed plans to end Aaron's life, instead of Victoria seeking a divorce.
Using the "Find My" application, Victoria allegedly provided Grant with Aaron's exact location while he was filming for "Ghost Adventures." Grant then relayed this information to a third party who was supposed to carry out the murder.
Fortunately, the plot was intercepted by authorities, who confiscated Grant's phone, leading to Victoria's arrest. Upon interrogation, she denied the murder plot but admitted to feeling emotionally detached from Aaron and fantasizing about a different future with Grant.
In his revised divorce filing, Aaron accused Victoria of causing him severe emotional distress and making him apprehensive of harmful behavior. Moreover, Aaron claims Victoria confined him within boundaries she established, causing further harm.
The news has shocked Aaron's "Ghost Adventures" colleagues, who were unaware of any marital issues. According to sources close to the show, the cast and crew are in disbelief and are rallying around Aaron during this difficult time.
As the legal process continues, Victoria remains in custody, and neither she nor her representatives have made public comments addressing the charges. Meanwhile, Aaron seeks not only justice but also demands more than $10,000 for the emotional and legal toll this harrowing ordeal has taken on him.
He also took to Instagram to express gratitude for the outpouring of love and support amidst the drama, "Thank you everyone for all the love and support through this emotionally trying time. It has really helped a lot and I appreciate you all."
