AceShowbiz - Kid Rock and fiancée Audrey Berry's relationship has officially come to an end, according to multiple sources. The couple, who had been engaged for almost seven years, decided to part ways late last year.
As reported by Us Weekly, a source close to the pair confirmed the breakup and added that Kid Rock is "venturing into the dating pool."
Rumors about Rock's newly single status gained traction when he was seen getting into a cab with Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert earlier this month in Washington, D.C., following an inauguration event for President Donald Trump. The rock star and the Republican politician were reportedly spotted chatting and dancing at the ritzy event.
He also openly hit on a BBC reporter in a live interview during Trump's inauguration ceremony in January.
Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, initially proposed to Audrey Berry back in April 2017. The couple kept their relationship largely private, with Rock explaining in a 2011 interview with Piers Morgan that Berry was "somebody who is not a celebrity" which sometimes made their relationship "a tough thing to deal with."
In 2015, Rock said, "Life is so much simpler being with one girl. Now [that] I'm not chasing chicks around, I've got so much more free time."
Throughout their time together, Kid Rock often praised Audrey Berry, even mentioning in a 2021 Hook & Barrel magazine profile that he was "a very lucky person" to have her in his life. They shared hobbies such as hunting, with Rock revealing, "We used to go hunting together, and she took right to it."
Rock's private relationship with Berry was stark contrast to his previous tumultuous romance with Pamela Anderson. After an engagement and subsequent breakup, they wed in July 2006 only to divorce four months later.
