Musician Zach Bryan comes after 'fat fingered internet sleuths' and 'couch warriors,' defending his friends who are facing harassment following his messy split from Brianna LaPaglia.

AceShowbiz - Country music star Zach Bryan has publicly addressed the online harassment directed towards his friends following his bitter breakup with Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia.

In a series of Instagram Stories on January 9, Bryan called out online trolls and "couch warriors," stating, "Everyone wonders why I quit touring and don't want to be attached to music anymore. Meanwhile you're calling my friends ugly and harassing them?"

He continued, "I'm not asking for sympathy but going for my -friends- is so low and so messed up? Apparently I've [had] four different girlfriends in like two weeks meanwhile my friends and me are just laughing and hanging out like we always have."

Bryan emphasized that while he can handle the online criticism directed at him, he will not tolerate the harassment of his friends. "No matter how bad of a person you think I am, go ahead and come for me," he wrote. "I can take all the hatred because I'm not a child. But do not come for my friends who do nothing but love and care for me."

He added, "I love my life. I have worked REALLY hard for it. Whether you think I deserve it or not. Whether you think I suck or not. Stop being such sad fat fingered internet sleuths to my friends. We're all humans and I'm so tired of people thinking social media is a way to have a moral high ground on people THEYVE never met?"

Bryan's comments come after his breakup with LaPaglia, who publicly accused him of emotional abuse and alleged that his team offered her a $12 million NDA to remain silent about their relationship.

While Bryan did not directly address these accusations in his Instagram Stories, he did state, "I am so terrifying unphased by the fake s*** people say about me online."

He concluded his message by firmly stating, "Coming for people I love and care for is my line and final straw. I've said what I needed to say. My chest is still out and heads are still held high."

This incident highlights the increasing prevalence of online harassment and the impact it can have on individuals and their personal relationships.
