Citing "irreconcilable differences," Ford submitted the paperwork without listing a specific date of separation. Their marriage, which began in November 2007, spanned over 17 years.

In her divorce filing , Ford seeks joint legal and physical custody of their 12-year-old son, Leo James while also requesting spousal support from Routh, 45, and asking the court to deny him any spousal support.

Throughout their relationship, Ford and Routh not only shared personal moments but also professional ones. The couple is well-known for their roles on "DC's Legends of Tomorrow", where their characters, Ray Palmer/Atom and Nora Darhk, evolved together on screen.
