AceShowbiz - Kristen Bell, known for her roles in "Frozen" and "The Good Place," has brought her creativity to the holiday season with a stunning "Wizard of Oz"-themed Christmas tree that delights her fans.
On Christmas Day, the 44-year-old actress unveiled her family's enchanting Christmas tree on Instagram. The decorations were inspired by the beloved film "Wicked" and the classic "The Wizard of Oz," creating a magical display that thrilled her followers.
The centerpiece of Bell's festive dΓ©cor is a tree that seems to have a yellow brick road leading up to it. Beneath the tree, a pair of legs protruding from underneath signifies the ill-fated "Wicked Witch of the East", complete with the iconic red ruby slippers from the 1939 Judy Garland-starring movie.
The tree is adorned with pink and red baubles, pink ribbon, and two unique toppers representing "Wicked" lead characters, Glinda and Elphaba. One topper boasts blonde hair, a pink dress, and angel wings, while the other is dressed in green, with matching angel wings and a pointy witch's hat.
Bell's choice of theme is no surprise to those who know her love for "Wicked." Recently, she took her choir to see the "Wicked" movie, sharing their excitement on Instagram. The choir can be seen dancing and singing along to "Dancing Through Life" and "Defying Gravity."
The actress expressed her gratitude to the film's director, Jon M. Chu, captioning her post, "Thank you @jonmchu forever and for good xo."
This isn't the first time Bell and her husband, Dax Shepard, have gone all out for their holiday theme. Last year, their Christmas tree featured a full-bodied Grinch. Shepard humorously commented that the tree "scared the s*** out of me."
While the couple's elaborate holiday themes bring joy to their family, Bell acknowledges the effort involved, especially for their daughters, Delta, 8, and Lincoln, 10. She shared her solidarity with fellow moms on Instagram, saying, "To all my moms on Christmas morning- I see you. π the fatigue is REAL. Do what you need to do with no regrets. πππ," and even showed herself grabbing a Red Bull to cope with holiday fatigue.
