AceShowbiz - Timothee Chalamet, best known for portraying Bob Dylan in "A Complete Unknown", has revealed an unexpected choice for his next potential biopic on SiriusXM's "The Morning Mash Up". Asked about his desired subject, Chalamet bypassed legendary sports figures and opted for a surprising figure: Ernie Johnson, the 68-year-old host of TNT's Emmy-winning "Inside the NBA".
Johnson, renowned for his vibrant bow ties and humble demeanor, holds immense respect among his co-hosts Shaquille O'Neal, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith. His career spans diverse coverage, including the FIFA World Cup, NFL, Wimbledon, Olympics, MLB and PGA golf.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Johnson is a devoted Christian who has adopted four children with his wife Cheryl. Their son Michael, who faced challenges with slight autism and Duchenne muscular dystrophy, inspired Johnson with his infectious motto, "I love you, too."
Chalamet's choice drew endorsement from Ryan Sampson, host of "The Morning Mash Up", while Nicole Ryan added, "It's out in the universe now." Chalamet remained modest, responding, "You never know, he might already have a short list of people that I'm not on."
In the meantime, Chalamet's next project is "Marty Supreme", where he will portray pro ping pong player Marty Reisman. He also awaits the release of "Dune: Messiah".
