AceShowbiz - On December 23, Jason Kelce, dressed as Santa, surprised fans with an impromptu rendition of "Silent Night" before the Saints-Packers game. His co-host, Marcus Spears, received a special shout-out.
"Marcus Spears, a.k. a. Swagoo/ We will see you soon," Kelce sang in the episode. “Football is awwwww-some."
Throughout the broadcast of "Monday Night Countdown", Kelce remained at the analyst desk in his Santa attire, drawing attention to his significant weight loss. He also shared a childhood story about discovering the truth about Santa Claus. His co-host, Travis Kelce, revealed how he figured it out on his own when he realized every present had their mother's handwriting.
In addition to the festivities, Kelce and ESPN colleagues Scott Van Pelt (Buddy the Elf) and Stanford Steve (a festive Packers elf) delivered presents to Packers fans around Green Bay.
Van Pelt took to his X account to tease their special Christmas outfits. "Coming up on MNCD….," the 58-year-old shared alongside a picture of the trio posing together.
Kelce's holiday spirit extended beyond "Monday Night Countdown". In October, he embraced Halloween as Fred Flintstone before a Bills game.
The "Monday Night Countdown" crew will return to the air on December 30 after the Christmas break.
