In a heartfelt post on social media, Julian shared the unsettling news of his skin cancer diagnosis. He wrote, "After having just finished 'Good Morning America', I received a message from Dr. Tess, with some urgency to return to Los Angeles, as I had 2 locations on My Skin, Shoulder (and) Forearm, one of which was Melanoma, that should be operated on ASAP!"

Known for his hit song "Too Late for Goodbyes," Julian explained the urgency of the situation. Before his New York media tour, he received a consultation from his dermatologist, Dr. Tess, who had previously treated a cancerous mole. The diagnosis revealed that one of the affected areas was melanoma, a severe type of skin cancer often caused by ultraviolet light exposure.

Instead of returning home to relax and prepare for Christmas, Julian flew back to Los Angeles directly to undergo emergency surgery. He expressed his gratitude, saying, "I'm very thankful to Dr. Tess and Dr. Tim (Neavin), for being able to coordinate this surgery at such short notice, but for once again, hopefully Saving My Life… One can never be too confident in circumstances like this, but we all believe that Dr. Tim has saved the day… So fingers crossed for now."

To illustrate the severity of the situation, Julian shared black-and-white photos showcasing his surgery scars on social media. He is still awaiting the biopsy results but remains hopeful they'll arrive before Christmas. He mentioned, "Good news regarding his biopsy would be 'the best Christmas present ever.' "

Julian took this opportunity to remind his followers of the importance of health vigilance. "For the sake of yourself, your family and friends just go to your [doctor] and do what must be done… I love life and I want to live for a very long time, and this is one way, and a choice, that could determine your future," Lennon urged.
