After she was forced to evacuate from her house in Malibu due to the wildfire, the 'Harry Wild' star candidly opens up about the aftermath of the recent disaster.

AceShowbiz - Jane Seymour has opened up about the aftermath of recent wildfire in California. The "Harry Wild" star candidly shared that she is suffering from "post-traumatic numbness" following the disaster.

When making an appearance at the American Ballet Theater Annual Benefit in Los Angeles, California on Monday, December 16, the 73-year-old actress revealed what she has been feeling after the wildfire. Speaking to Us Weekly, she said, "I'm very grateful, incredibly relieved."

Jane went on to explain, "It's interesting, you kind of have a sort of post-traumatic numbness. It's like, 'Did that really happen?' And it did." Despite the disaster, she stated that she is "very fortunate." She elaborated, "Driving around Malibu and looking at all the charred remains is not fun. But really considering what could have happened, we were all very fortunate."

This was not the first time Jane talked about the wildfire. Previously, she recalled getting out of her Malibu house "just in time" to escape the scene. "On Monday night, at 10.50 P.M., we got a call from my partner, John Zambetti's son Johnny, who was in Serra Retreat," she recounted. "(He) saw a glow behind the curtains, opened the windows, saw 10 foot flames, and called us immediately and said, 'Get out. Get out.' "

"We all got out just in time because of that," Jane continued. She further shared, "The fire department were unbelievable and the fire came up to inches of the property and they have saved so many lives and I am eternally grateful and shaken. I ran out of the house with just the clothes I was wearing," adding, "I just literally had jeans and a sweater, which I've been wearing for four days and sleeping at different people's houses."

Recently, the City of Malibu "confirmed more than 4,000 acres burned during the wind-driven wildfire with 14 buildings destroyed and 13 damaged." Aside from Jane, fellow famous figure Cher was forced to leave her estate.
