AceShowbiz - Snoop Dogg revealed on "The Jennifer Hudson Show" that he's giving his daughter Cori a mind-blowing $1 million for her wedding to fiancé Wayne Duece. During the December 2 appearance, Snoop humorously mentioned, "But, Jen, I told her if it was me, my wedding would have been $100 [thousand] and $900 [thousand] would have gone in my pocket," garnering laughter from the audience.
This extravagant gift, however, hasn't been utilized yet as Cori and Wayne had to postpone their nuptials. Cori suffered a severe stroke in January, putting a temporary halt on their wedding plans.
Despite this setback, their journey-and all the ups and downs - is set to premiere in a new E! docuseries titled "Snoop's Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne's Story" on December 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, with episodes available on Peacock.
The series promises a behind-the-scenes look at their relationship and wedding preparation. As Snoop shared on the show, he believes Wayne is the perfect match for his daughter, stating, "As a father, you know. I'm gonna speak for him because, as a father, one thing you know is when it's your baby girl, you ain't gonna hand her off to nobody who ain't gonna handle her with care."
Snoop isn't new to over-the-top gifts for Cori. He bought her a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon for her 16th birthday, which her mother, Shante Broadus, ended up appropriating after grounding Cori. Although Cori declined to elaborate on why she was grounded, the story showcases Snoop's penchant for spoiling his daughter.
On the professional front, Snoop is preparing for the release of his new album, "Missionary", produced entirely by Dr. Dre, marking their first full-length collaboration since 1993's "Doggystyle".
