AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie) is known for his controversial comments. This time, however, Internet users defended the "Wipe Me Down" rapper after he made remarks about his favorite singer R. Kelly, who is currently serving his jail time for sex trafficking and racketeering.

In a video shared on Sunday, December 1, Boosie talked about inmates at the same prisode with the "I Believe I Can Fly" hitmaker. "People don't know how blessed they are to have R. Kelly in the same corner," Boosie said in the clip. "He can have all my soups. Everything. Just sing to me, get me through this."

Referencing the singer's 1996 track, the rapper continued, "Just think you wake up one morning having a bad day and you hear, 'I believe I could fly.' "

Upon catching wind of the video, some Internet users slammed Boosie for making prison sound like a music festival. One commented, "This man said commissary for concerts-Boosie out here making prison sound like Coachella."

"boosie been pissing me off lately he's boring same old same old & random," another said. One other asked, "So y'all forgot what he did to Aaliyah?"

However, some others defended Boosie from the critics. "The way people taking this video so serious is mind blowing lol Boosie is hilarious to me and R Kelly music still jams let's just be honest," a fan wrote. "Y'all too serious on this app. Boosie is hilarious," another echoed the sentiment.

"Idc what y'all say, I could never hate Boosie," one other said. Someone added, "Boosie is a comedian. LAUGH people."

Some others, on the other hand, trolled Boosie for his obsession with R. Kelly. "Boosie love Kellz real bad! he been standing on this since his incarceration," one said. One user found "Boosie funny as hell." Similarly, someone added, "Lmfaoooooo Boosie be giving this era hell I love it though!"
