AceShowbiz - Christopher Nolan's next project is gaining momentum as Robert Pattinson is reportedly in talks to join the cast. Pattinson would join Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o and Zendaya Coleman in the ensemble.
The film will be released on July 17, 2026, following in line with Nolan's pattern of releasing films on similar dates. Universal Pictures, the film's distributor, declined to comment on Pattinson's casting.
Sources say the movie's shooting is expected to begin early next year, but its plot and loglines remain under wraps. If a deal is finalized, Pattinson would reunite with Nolan after collaborating on "Tenet".
Damon, Holland, Hathaway and Pattinson are believed to play the lead roles, while Nyong'o and Zendaya are rumored to have supporting roles. Nolan, along with his wife and producing partner Emma Thomas, will produce the film under their Syncopy banner.
Pattinson is currently filming A24's "The Drama", also starring Zendaya. He recently completed "Mickey 17" and will reprise his role as Batman in Matt Reeves' "The Batman" sequel.
Nolan's latest film comes with his usual level of secrecy, leaving many plot details unknown. Despite rumors of a period vampire thriller or a helicopter action thriller, insiders claim these theories do not accurately reflect Nolan's concept.
The film's cast continues to grow, adding to the anticipation for this highly anticipated and shrouded project. Nolan's track record of critically acclaimed and commercially successful films ensures that this upcoming release will be one to watch.
