AceShowbiz - Kim Zolciak-Biermann and her estranged second husband Kroy Biermann have scheduled an auction for their seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom marital home in Milton, GA on December 3. The sale is intended to repay Truist Bank after the couple defaulted on their $1.56M loan taken out in 2012.
The sprawling estate, valued at $5.5M by residential appraiser Alan Daniel, was initially listed on the market for $6M in 2023 but has since been reduced to $3.95M. Zolciak claims Biermann was trying to work things out with her as recently as September, but she has since alleged that she has paid all the bills in the household, including clothing for their children and most of the food. Biermann has allegedly not contributed financially to the property in the last 18 months.
The couple's marital problems escalated after the cancellation of their Bravo reality TV spin-off, Don't Be Tardy, in 2020. In May 2023, they filed for divorce but briefly reconciled in July before filing again in August.
Despite the property's financial burden and the couple's ongoing divorce proceedings, a source familiar with the property claims that it is worth significantly more than its current asking price. The home is said to have been appraised for $5.5M.
Meanwhile, Biermann has requested complete control over the sale of the property, claiming that Zolciak is refusing offers that he finds acceptable and is showing disregard for their financial situation. Zolciak has responded by stating that she is willing to sell the home but that she will not accept an offer below $3.85M as it would leave her without sufficient funds to purchase another property.
