AceShowbiz - Armie Hammer recently revealed on his podcast that his mother gave him a vasectomy as a birthday present. Dru Mobley, Hammer's mother, admitted to suggesting the procedure because she knew "there are young girls who would love to have Armie Hammer's baby" and didn't believe he would abstain from sex outside of marriage.
Hammer, who has faced several sexual assault allegations, joked that his mother's gift ensured "no children that she knows of" because he "ate them." He has previously denied these allegations.
Mobley explained that her decision was influenced by her faith but acknowledged that it was impractical to expect her son to follow it strictly. She has also defended her son's innocence throughout the LAPD investigation and in her book "Hammered," where she claims that he made "bad personal choices" but was cleared of all legal wrongdoing.
In the podcast episode, Hammer described the slightly awkward experience of informing the vasectomy facility that his mother would be paying for the procedure without insurance.
Hammer, whose last film role before the allegations was in 2021, recently landed a new role and launched the Armie HammerTime Podcast. The podcast conversation with his mother marks one of the few public appearances he has made since his withdrawal from the public eye in 2021.
