Dorinda Medley discusses her departure from 'The Real Housewives of New York City,' her hopes for a return, and her involvement with Words With Friends.

AceShowbiz - Dorinda Medley, 59, former star of "The Real Housewives of New York City", remains grateful for fan support and open to the possibility of returning to the show. Despite shedding tears over her exit in 2020, she acknowledges that the decision to remove her was made by Bravo executives and not by the cast.

I was at a meet and greet last night and someone asked, 'Would you ever?' Listen, I'm open to all opportunities. I loved my time on Bravo. I cried my eyes out when they let me go. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not one of these people that made a statement that said I decided to take some [time off]. I don't wanna go," she shared.

Medley has since appeared on two seasons of "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip" and keeps up with the current iteration of "RHONY", both as a fan and on her SiriusXM show "Reality Checked". She believes the legacy of the past cast members weighs heavily on the new group, but encourages viewers to give them a chance.

Medley also highlights the importance of seeing a diverse representation of New Yorkers on the show and hopes for a possible reunion in the future.

In collaboration with Dorit Kemsley of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", Medley is promoting the word game Words With Friends, emphasizing its fun and relaxing nature as a way to connect while traveling.
