After a brief stint on 'The Real Housewives of New York City', Rebecca Minkoff is ready to close this chapter and focus on her family and career in a new, exciting phase in her life.

AceShowbiz - Rebecca Minkoff is leaving "The Real Housewives of New York City". Initially joining "RHONY" as friend of the main cast, the 42-year-old fashion designer announced her departure from the show on February 4, the same night Bravo aired part two of the season 15 reunion.

"I am truly grateful for the experience, the friendships, and the fans that have been part of this RHONY chapter," Minkoff wrote on Instagram, hinting at her eagerness to move on. "Time to turn the page," she added, tagging her post with "#newchapter."

Minkoff cited her desire to focus on her family and business as primary reasons for her departure. "2025 is a new beginning for me and with current events in the world, I am reminded [of] the importance of family, friends, and community now more than ever," she emphasized in her announcement.

"The last month has given me a new perspective on wanting to focus on my wildly amazing 4 kids, my supportive husband, my business of 20 years, the Female Founder Collective, my podcast, and MY BOOK."

Throughout her time on "RHONY", Minkoff faced considerable scrutiny, especially concerning her Scientology beliefs. She revealed to Us Weekly that the subject was never broached respectfully on the show. "It was always done with, as Brynn [Whitfield] says, 'I like to play horrible games. I like to stir the pot,' " she lamented.

Despite her efforts to integrate into the cast, producers reportedly found Minkoff "relatively boring." Despite her citing family as the reason behind her exit, insiders reported that Minkoff's departure was influenced by the lack of compelling storylines and genuine interactions among the cast members.

Even though Minkoff reflected positively on some aspects of her "RHONY" experience, she is ready to redirect her energy towards her personal life and new venture. "As much as I have learned along the way with this franchise and fans, I want to reprioritize the things that mean the most to me: designing, giving back, supporting women, and raising my family," she reiterated.
