AceShowbiz - NeNe Leakes' son Bryson Bryant is reportedly going MIA while on probation. According to a new report, Bryson "cannot be found" after missing two check-in meetings with a probation officer following his felony arrest in July 2023.
According to InTouch, Bryson failed to report on both August 14 and September 30. The officer tried to contact him by calling his cell phone and checking the local jail rosters, but to no avail.
In a motion filed on October 3, it was stated that Bryan was still at large. The news outlet revealed that in response to the filing, a judge signed off on the officer's request to "toll" Bryson's sentence. It means that "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum's son will get his probation paused until he checks in with his probation officer or is taken in by a police officer. It's unknown if new updates regarding his whereabouts are available now.
Bryson is required to report every month to a probation officer after he reached a plea deal with prosecutors following his arrest on felony drug possession charges. Back in July 2023, the 34-year-old was arrested at a home in Lawrenceville, Geogia after "evading police and claiming he knew the people that lived at the residence which was false."
During his arrest, he reportedly lied to cops and gave them his younger brother Brentt Leakes' name. Not stopping there, he gave cops the address of his old residence, a house which NeNe had sold years ago.
Bryson was then booked into the Gwinnett County Jail and hit with several charges, including possession of a scheduled II controlled substance, violation of probation, loitering and giving a false name, address or birthdate. The oldest son of the reality TV star, however, was released after midnight after paying $3,700 bond.
The court later sentenced him to a 12-month probationary period with strict rules that would land him in jail if broken and a $500 fine payment. Bryson also must complete 40 hours of community service within six months of his sentence as the court allowed a probation officer to run random drug tests on him.
