AceShowbiz - Marvel premiered a special look trailer for "Thunderbolts" at the Brazil D23 fan event on Saturday, November 9. The event featured an appearance from David Harbour, who plays Red Guardian in the film.

The extended clip opens with Red Guardian, Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) speeding down a road in Red Guardian's limousine, pursued by a convoy. A gunfight ensues before Bucky Barnes, a.k.a. the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) shows up. Thinking that they're going to be rescued, the group is stunned when Bucky ends up shooting their limo.

The antiheroes later meet at Stark Tower, where they are greeted by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Despite their initial reluctance, Red Guardian proclaims, "We are the Thunderbolts!" sparking objections from his teammates, but he steadfastly defends it as "a cool name."

When they are not fighting amongst themselves or trying to decipher the identity of Bob (Lewis Pullman), the Thunderbolts work together on dangerous missions for the government.

The film is directed by Jake Schreier and is set to hit theaters on May 2. The Thunderbolts team consists of antiheroes who have often been at odds with the Avengers, making their alliance a captivating and potentially explosive storyline.
