AceShowbiz - Zendaya Coleman and Tom Holland will reunite on-screen in Christopher Nolan's upcoming film for Universal Pictures. The couple, known for their roles in the Spider-Man franchise, will be joined by Anne Hathaway, who will collaborate with Nolan for the third time.
Also joining the film is Matt Damon, who has frequently collaborated with Nolan, rounds out the cast. Plot details remain under wraps, but it is reported that the film will not take place in the present day.
If the report is to be belived, the upcoming film marks Zendaya and Holland's first appearance in a non-Spider-Man movie together. They first met in 2016 while filming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and have since starred in two additional sequels. Despite dating rumors since 2017, they confirmed their relationship in 2021.
The untitled Nolan film is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 17, 2026. Meanwhile, Zendaya and Holland are preparing to film the fourth installment of the Spider-Man franchise in summer 2025. The actor recently received critical and commercial success with "Challengers" and "Dune: Part Two", while Hathaway has worked with Nolan on "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Interstellar".
Universal has declined to comment on the casting news.
