AceShowbiz - Kristin Cavallari revealed she initially rejected a dinner invitation from celebrity chef Bobby Flay after he slid into her DMs. However, she later realized it was all a misunderstanding.

During an episode of her "Let's Be Honest" podcast, Flay recalled sending Cavallari a message asking to take her to dinner while he was in Nashville for one night. To his surprise, she responded by saying she was already dating someone.

However, Cavallari had a slightly different recollection of events, claiming she may have responded that she was burnt out on dating. Despite the confusion, Flay insisted he had asked her out on a date.

Cavallari admitted she should not have assumed Flay's intentions, stating, "I think the 'take you to dinner' thing is more where it was like, 'Oh, that seems like a date.' "

Despite the misunderstanding, the pair eventually met up and had a great time. However, they both agreed that Flay's initial DM message could have been more clear.

Flay, who is newly single after splitting from his girlfriend in July, discussed his dating preferences and expressed a desire for privacy in his personal life. Cavallari also recently ended a relationship with TikToker Mark Estes in September.

During the podcast episode, the duo also joked about their dining preferences, with Flay complimenting Cavallari's adventurous eating habits.
