AceShowbiz - Wack 100 is standing up for his former artist Ray J following an altercation with Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' children. The music manager has issued a warning to the Combs brothers after they confronted the singer at a Halloween party over the weekend.
Ray and Wack 100 discussed the incident during a phone call on Tuesday, October 29. The "One Wish" singer said he was "rushed by like 8 people" when he went to leave the party in Los Angeles. Wack 100, who is a former manager of Ray, hinted at possible retaliation as he asked Ray if it was okay to "put the other stuff out that we been knowing about?"
Ray replied, "Nah, they're too young. I tried to talk some sense into what happened." Wack 100, however, act like it's 1995."
Meanwhile, Ray's current manager David Weintraub has played down the fight. Met by TMZ on Tuesday, he said, "Nobody's gonna press Ray J. It's not gonna happen. I mean, anyone can come and try to press Ray, but it's not gonna happen. That was an unfortunate incident and you know, that was a great party that got ruined by lil' kids tryna fight a big boy. And sometimes, you just can't have that happen."
He added, "It was just unnecessary. Everybody's all family, one way or another. No matter what people are dealing with in the world. Even though the Combs Family is dealing with what they’re dealing with, Ray deals with his life, and Chris deals with his life, there's no reason for everybody to be fighting."
"I mean, listen, Ray is just not a guy that you're going to go and press like that, especially if you're at one of our events, it's not gonna happen," David said. "So, luckily it didn't escalate any further and everything is all good."
He went on defending his artist as saying, "I mean, Diddy's kids were just upset that Ray was, you know, doing what Ray does. Ray is a television personality. He's made 2,000 hours of television. Every week he's in interviews. Every week he's talking about stuff. He's going to say whatever he's going to say. You're going to live with it, you're gonna like it, it doesn't matter. But, nobody's gonna press Ray J, period."
TMZ previously reported that Christian a.k.a. King Combs, Justin Combs and Quincy Brown confronted Ray over his recent comments on their father as they left Unruly Agency CEO Tara Electra's Halloween bash on Saturday, October 26. A source recalled, "When the party ended, all three of the brothers were talking s**t to Ray and he was ignoring it because he was with [Amber Rose]."
Chris Brown, who witnessed it from his car, rushed out and quickly intervened. He and Ray's manager David prevented the argument from becoming any more physical.
Hazel-E, who was present at the party, praised Chris for helping diffuse the fight. "If Chris wasn't like the bigger voice of reason in that moment, I don't think anything that any of use were saying would have toned the situation down. Chris really did help the situation. I don't know when Chris became the big homie," she gushed over the "Beautiful People" singer.
