AceShowbiz - Prince William's ambitious Earthshot Prize will hold its fourth annual awards ceremony in Cape Town, South Africa, on November 6. The event will spotlight the work of 15 finalists chosen for their innovative ideas to heal the planet.

Supermodel and television host Heidi Klum, actress Nina Dobrev, model and beauty entrepreneur Winnie Harlow, and rapper and actor Tobe Nwigwe will join the broadcast to announce the winners in each category: Protect and Restore Nature, Clean Our Air, Revive Our Oceans, Build a Waste-Free World, and Fix Our Climate.

"As someone who uses my platform to advocate for a better future for our children, I am deeply inspired by The Earthshot Prize's ambition to find and support solutions for a healthy planet," Klum said.

Dobrev added, "I believe that the innovators highlighted by the Earthshot Prize are helping ensure that these vital ecosystems are protected for generations to come."

The ceremony will be hosted by award-winning South African television presenter Bonang Matheba and multi-award winning singer and actor Billy Porter. Performers from across Africa include Grammy-nominated Davido, Diamond Platnumz, South African composer Lebo M, the Ndlovu Youth Choir, and DJ Uncle Waffles.

The week leading up to the awards will be hosted by actor, humanitarian, and Earthshot Global Ambassador Nomzamo Mbatha, who will facilitate high-level dialogues with finalists, environmental champions, and other key figures to advance their ambitious projects.

Each finalist will receive £1 million to support the growth of their environmental initiatives. The prize also provides dedicated mentorship, resources, and a year-long Earthshot Prize Fellowship Programme.

Prince William will travel solo to Cape Town, as Princess Kate continues to recover from cancer treatment. He hopes to attend the Remembrance Day service in London on November 10 after returning from Africa.
