The 49-year-old revealed that she had been wearing heavy earrings and believed they had caused the damage. Dr. Justin Perez, a plastic surgeon, confirmed that the heavy earrings were the culprit.
During the procedure, Moakler remained upbeat and explained that it took only 15-20 minutes per ear. She also shared that she would have the sutures removed in about seven days and then have the ears re-pierced in three months.
In the video's caption, Moakler emphasized that the procedure was quick, painless, and necessary for anyone who had worn heavy earrings or gauges. She also praised Dr. Perez for his expertise.
Moakler's cosmetic procedure follows her admission of using the weight-loss drug Mounjaro to lose weight. She revealed that she had started eating more after the loss of her parents in 2023.
Previously married to Travis Barker who's now married to Kourtney Kardashian, Moakler was frustrated by the media for constantly linking her to the Blink-182 drummer despite their split and emphasized that she was more than just the ex-wife of famous men. She asserted that she had worked hard to achieve her success and did not care about the opinions of others.
