AceShowbiz - Elon Musk has a bone to pick with Eminem following the latter's endorsement of Kamala Harris. The businessman, who has been a vocal supporter of Donald Trump, has accused the rapper of being a "Diddy party participant" after it was announced that Em would join a Harris rally in Detroit.
The billionaire made a scathing tweet about the Detroit emcee in response to the news that Em would introduce former president Barack Obama at the Tuesday, October 22 rally. Taking to his own social media platform, the X owner wrote, "Another Diddy party participant."
Musk insinuated that Eminem is a close associate of Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and attended one of the embattled music mogul's "freak offs." However, he apparently did not perform due diligence before making the comment because there's no evidence to support his claim.
In fact, Eminem has been one of Diddy's most vocal critics for decades. The "Real Slim Shady" hitmaker, who is a close friend of 50 Cent, has dissed the Bad Boy Records founder several times on record.
On Machine Gun Kelly's 2018 song "Killshot", Em dissed Fiddy's longtime nemesis as rapping, "Kells, the day you put out a hit is the day Diddy admits that he put the hit out that got Pac killed."
Musk, on the other hand, has previously stated that he is close friends with Diddy. "I don't know if you know this, but Puff is an investor in Twitter," the SpaceX founder was quoted as saying in the book "Character Limit". He went on bragging, "You know, he's a good friend of mine. We text a lot."
In August, it was revealed that Diddy is named among around 100 entities as part owners of X. The embattled hip-hop mogul, under Sean Combs Capital, LLC, is listed as one of the investors alongside other big names like Bill Ackman, Saudi Prince Al Waleed bin Talal Al Saud and Twitter founder Jack Dorsey.
