AceShowbiz - Sam Claflin apparently is ready for a new relationship. It has been reported that the former "Peaky Blinders" star has ended his romance with model Cassie Amato after two years together.
On Wednesday, October 16, a source spilled the 38-year-old actor's current relationship status. Speaking to The U.S. Sun, the source said that he is single at the moment after calling it quits with Cassie.
About Sam and Cassie's relationship, the source shared, "Sam and Cassie had a really good run. It was his first proper relationship after splitting from his wife Laura Haddock and they had lots of fun together."
The insider went on to reveal the reason why Sam and Cassie, who used to date actor Leonardo DiCaprio, broke up. The insider told the media outlet, "Things ran their course - the distance between them and different schedules got too much."
Despite their split, the insider stressed that Sam and Cassie "are still good mates." The insider further stated, "But Sam isn't wasting any time and has already signed up to a dating site and is open to meeting someone new."
Cassie appeared to have returned to work despite possible heartbreak following the split. On Monday, October 14, she made use of her Instagram page to share a photo from a photo session. In the picture, it could be seen that she was striking a pose in a black bra top, showing off her cleavage.
Cassie looked stunning with her minimal makeup while her long hair was a little messy. She styled her tresses in loose waves and let them loose. Along with the snap, she wrote in the caption, "In agreeing to love anything I will eventually and in due time be carried through the cycle and sorrow soaked moment of its grievance end, this is life," adding a heart emoji.
As for Sam, the "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" actor seemingly has been spending time around nature. Earlier in October, he offered social media users a glimpse of his recent activities, uploading some photos on Instagram. Alongside the post, he simply penned, "These Days."
Sam and Cassie were first seen holding hands in public in September 2022, around three years after his separation from Laura, who is the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actress. However, it remains unknown when exactly Sam and Cassie split.
