AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' legal team has responded to new lawsuits filed on Monday, October 14. Hitting back at Tony Buzbee who represents 120 alleged Diddy victims, the rapper's attorneys accused Buzbee of "publicity."
"The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today's barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity," the music mogul's legal team said in a statement to TMZ. They insisted, "In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone -- adult or minor, man or woman."
Diddy was slapped with five new lawsuits filed in the Southern District of New York earlier on Monday, accusing him of raping, drugging, sodomizing and threatening to kill alleged victims. One of the alleged victims is an unidentified female who claimed Combs raped her in 2004 after the then-19-year-old was allegedly invited to a photo shoot and then to his Marriott hotel room in Manhattan.
At the "more exclusive party," the college student was allegedly taken to a "separate room off from the main party" where the door was locked, and she and her friend were allegedly assaulted by Combs. The Bad Boy Records founder allegedly "threatened to have them both killed" if they did not comply.
Another alleged victim, a male, accused Diddy of aggravated sexual assault in a Macy's department store stockroom in 2008. The man claimed he was confronted by the rapper and two bodyguards who threatened to "kill" the victim as the songwriter allegedly orally raped him.
Another unidentified man accused Diddy of drugging and sodomizing him in a van outside of a White Party in 2006. He said the hip-hop mogul "dismissed" his pleas for help by repeatedly telling him he would "be alright."
The fourth person who filed the lawsuit claimed he attended Diddy's White Party, where the Grammy winner requested he "drop his pants and expose" himself in 1998 before allegedly touching the then-16-year-old's genitals.
A fifth alleged victim is a woman, who accused Diddy of raping her at a 1995 party promoting Biggie Smalls a.k.a. The Notorious B.I.G.'s "One More Chance" music video. She said the 52-year-old record producer "violently struck her, slamming her head against a wall" before hitting her once more and raping her.
Buzbee previously claimed that there's a shocking list of Diddy's alleged accomplices that would be revealed in lawsuits. "The names will shock you," he ominously warned. "The day will come when we will name names other than Sean Combs, and there's a lot of names." He, however, later revealed that some of the A-listers have settled with his clients to avoid being exposed to public.
