AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs has barely spent one month behind bars since he was arrested in Manhattan on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, but he already looks different now. The rapper looked thinner during his court appearance on Thursday, October 10.
According to TMZ, the 54-year-old appeared to have lost weight as his face looked skinnier, but it's not because of his incarceration. While his thin appearance led to speculations that he hasn't been eating in jail or the criminal case was finally getting to him, that's not the real reason behind his slimmer look.
Sources told the site that Diddy lost weight before he was arrested by the feds on September 16. He reportedly had been leading a healthy lifestyle while hunkering down in his Miami mansion for months as the feds were investigating him. In the said period, he allegedly started a physical and mental health regimen to stay healthy.
The music mogul was also reported to be exercising to remain in good physical shape while he was holed up prior to his arrest. It's unclear how much weight he lost, but the report stressed that it has nothing to do with his time in jail. Although the food sucks and isn't what he's used to, the sources said the rapper is eating.
His attorney Marc Agnifilo confirmed Diddy's struggle with food in jail following the Thursday court appearance. "I think the food's probably the roughest part of it," the lawyer told reporters outside of a federal courthouse in Manhattan after a status conference.
Agnifilo also assured that his client remains in "high spirits" despite being held without bail. The Bad Boy Records founder will remain in jail until his trial, which is set for May 5, 2025.
During his appearance in a federal court in Manhattan on Thursday, Diddy received support from his family, including his six children and his mother Janice Combs. Witnesses reported that the family was "very happy" to support Diddy, and the whole family was "united in their support." The hip-hop music mogul, dressed in tan prison clothing, entered the courtroom through a side door and waved to his son Christian a.k.a. King Combs before the start of the hearing.
