AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs appeared in a federal court in Manhattan on Thursday, October 10th, where a judge set his sex trafficking trial date for May 5, 2025. The hearing was attended by several family members, including Combs' six children and his mother Janice Combs.
Witnesses reported that the family was "very happy" to support Combs, and the whole family was "united in their support." Combs, dressed in tan prison clothing, entered the courtroom through a side door and waved to his son Christian a.k.a. King Combs before the start of the hearing.
Prosecutors revealed that the investigation into Combs is ongoing and that additional charges may be brought. They also noted that they had seized 96 electronic devices during raids on Combs' homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
Combs' defense team requested a gag order, accusing the Feds of leaking a video of Combs assaulting his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura. However, the prosecutor argued that the gag order should apply to both sides.
Judge Arun Subramanian asked both parties to work out the terms of a gag order and inquired about Combs' jail conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center. Despite being held without bail, Combs' attorney Marc Agnifilo stated that he is in "high spirits" in jail.
Combs pleaded not guilty to the charges and will remain in jail until his trial. The family left the courthouse after the hearing, holding hands before departing in a car.
