AceShowbiz - Lord Jamar has joined in today's hottest discourse about entertainment industry. During his appearance on "The Art Dialogue" amid Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, the rapper/DJ shared a shocking story about the embattled music mogul.
Jamar, whose real name is Lorenzo Dechalus, fueled the speculation about Diddy's sexuality as he dubbed him part of a powerful "Gay Mafia" within entertainment. He, however, noted that the Bad Boy Records founder is not the "godfather."
"You just saw one of the gay mafia members. That's who he is, that’s who Puffy is," Jamar said in the interview. He claimed, "He is one of the members of the mob. He's a mafia member. But he might not be the Don Carl, he is not the godfather. He is one of the heads of the family."
Jamar also said that Diddy was fired from Uptown Records because he was caught having an intimate encounter with another man in the office. "That's why I heard," he said without naming the other male involved. "He got caught in a precarious act, doing something real baby oil-ish in the office."
Diddy, who is currently in federal custody on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transporation to engage in prostitution, had his initial big break in the music industry as an executive at Uptown Records during the late '80s and early '90s. He, however, was unceremoniously fired from the company in 1993 due to his volatile nature and uncontrollable ego.
The 54-year-old himself has previously taken the blame for the firing. "I was very passionate, and I didn't understand protocol or workplace politics," he once told Oprah Winfrey. "So I got fired because there can't be two kings in one castle. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful to Andre, but I was fighting so hard. He wanted to be more diplomatic and to make sure everybody felt involved. Getting fired was one of the best things that could have happened to me."
