The 16-year-old was last seen on Saturday, October 5, at around 11:30 a.m., near the Space Needle and Seattle Monorail in downtown Seattle.

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) had classified Charlotte as a missing or runaway juvenile and assigned a detective from the Missing Persons Unit to investigate her disappearance. The police promptly issued a missing person alert and shared her description on social media: approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing around 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing khaki shorts and pink shoes.
