AceShowbiz - Chappell Roan apparently will have her fans' support no matter what. The "Good Luck, Babe!" songstress was supported by many social media users for calling out her teacher onstage at her recent show.
On Monday, October 7, the 26-year-old singer/songwriter, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, became a hot topic on X, formerly known as Twitter. X users were talking about her relatable feelings toward her theater teacher.
One in particular tweeted, "Chappell Roan calling out her teacher for kicking her out of their theater troop at ACL is so f**king funny dude if you're a theater kid you get it." Similarly, another chimed in, "Chappell roan dedicating my kink is karma to her THEATER TEACHER oh my god the ICON she is."
A third wrote, "As someone who got bullied by his highschool theater teacher, Chappell Roan calling out her theater teacher at ACL was healing for the soul." A fourth added, "Chappell roan's teacher who kicked her out of theater club is never going to know peace ever again... and rightfully so!!"
The supportive comments came shortly after Chappell publicly expressed her anger towards the theater teacher. On Sunday evening, October 6, she took the stage at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Zilker Park to entertain her fans.
During her set, Chappell dedicated her performance of "My Kink Is Karma" to the teacher. Speaking to a packed audience, she shouted, "I usually dedicate this song to my ex but I dedicate this song to my f**king theater teacher... who kicked me out, b***h! I'm here!" She then began delivering the song before changing the lyrics of the track.
It was the first time for Chappell to perform at the music festival. Though so, she was able to draw a huge crowd. Moreover, some argued that "she broke the record for the biggest crowd in the festival's history."
