AceShowbiz - Ice Cube has had something to say amid Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' legal problem. Upon learning that Diddy was arrested for sex crimes, the rapper/actor shared a message to those attending the fellow spitter's parties in the past.
Recently, the 55-year-old hip-hop artist entertained his fans at the M Resort in Las Vegas. Before delivering a song on the stage, he took his time to get things off his chest. At that time, he made a public declaration about him not being involved in Diddy's parties.
Speaking to concertgoers, Ice Cube said, "Almost 40 years of rocking the mic, and I'mma tell you right now - me and [fellow rapper] WC ain't never been to a Diddy party motherf**ker." His statement prompted the concertgoers to cheer. He went on to assure his fans, "You ain't gotta worry about us on them motherf**king tapes."
Ice Cube then stated, "Now check this s**t out. Take anybody in here to pay. I got one thing to say to your a**," before reiterating, "I got one thing to say to your a**." He added, "If you ever been to one of those parties, what the f**k you have to say? Boys or girls, you better check yourself."
After making the declaration, Ice Cube, whose real name is O'Shea Jackson Sr., was showered with praise by many social media users. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one in particular gushed, "@icecube has to be the most bad ass rapper today. Rejected the jab. Doesn't get into too much politics. Death Certificate No Vaseline is still one of his best songs yet."
Similarly, another exclaimed, "Cube always been a real one." A third marveled, "No Diddy tapes for him he's too busy keeping it real!" A fourth added, "That's why he is my favorite," adding a flame emoji.
In the meantime, other users wondered why Ice Cube had been silent if he knew what was going on. One of them asked, "How come they didn't have the courage to speak out while it was happening." Another argued, "He knew and never said a word to protect the victims. He's just as guilty for being silent."
