AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' sons continue to stand by their father following his arrest for sex crimes. Justin Combs, Christian a.k.a. King Combs and Quincy Brown are not shy to show their support for their father as they made another court appearance on Wednesday, September 18.
The three sons of the rapper were seen leaving the courthouse in Manhattan, New York City after their father was denied bond for the second time. In a video that surfaced online, they were seen exiting the court and walking down the stairs. Justin was seen walking hand-in-hand with a young woman, followed by his two brothers.
Diddy remains behind bars after a second judge rejected his request for release on bail. On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Andrew L. Carter upheld the previous decision, ruling that the government had provided "clear and convincing evidence" that the music mogul posed a risk to the community.
Diddy's attorney Marc Agnifilo argued for his client's release, proposing a bail package that included $50 million bond, home detention with GPS monitoring, drug testing and restrictions on visitors. However, prosecutors maintained that Diddy's history of witness intimidation and obstruction of justice made him a flight risk.
"The government has shown by clear and convincing evidence that the defendant is a danger to the community and poses a serious risk of flight," said Emily Johnson, Assistant U.S. Attorney. Judge Carter said the bail package the defense offered was "insufficient," agreeing with the government that there was "no condition that would assure" Diddy would not "obstruct justice" if he were released.
Following the second failed attempt to get him released on bond, Diddy's attorney told reporters, "We're not giving up by a long shot." He continued, "I'm going to do everything that I can to move his case as quickly as possible. We're going to fight this case with all of our might until we don't have to fight any longer." He also claimed that housing conditions in Metropolitan detention facility are "difficult" and "inhumane."
As reported before, Diddy was arrested on late Monday at a Manhattan hotel where he was staying. He was indicted on three felony counts, racketeering, sex trafficking and using transportation to engage in prostitution.
